Italian, born in Florence, graduated in Electronics, Antonio Morescalchi started his career as a producer of wine in 1988 in his father vineyard, in Montecatini Alto, Tuscany. Antonio founded Altos las Hormigas in 1995 with Alberto Antonini, and was ever since dedicated to build this company from its foundations. Expert taster of wine, with a focus on France and Italy, Antonio has dedicated himself to all aspects of the industry, from production to sales and marketing. His job takes him around the world several times per year visiting most of the 60 markets where ALH wines are sold in the five continents. Experienced conoisseur of the international wine markets, Antonio has started a new project in Cahors where ALH teams with local vintners to produce Malbec in the place of origin of the grape.

Married, father of two, Antonio loves ancient history and art cinema.
